Treatment of Alopecia (Hair loss) with Platelet Rich Plasma - PRP:
We are now offering a non surgical solution for hair loss in men and women, PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma. By injecting your own platelets, stem cells and grow factors, we are stimulating the hair follicle to produce new and stronger hair. During your free first consultation we will determine the best protocol for you.
A New Filler: Selphyl
We don't use regular laboratory tubes to separate the Platelets which only produce PPP(Poor Platelet Plasma), We use Selphyl to make sure the Plasma is rich in Platelets (PRP). Selphyl is a new type of filler made from the patients blood. Everything is processed in the doctors office. A small vial of blood is drawn from the patient. The collection tube is placed in a centrifuge and spun at high speed for a few minutes. During the patented process, the platelets and fibrin separate out, forming a platelet-rich fibrin matrix. This matrix is then injected into wrinkles and other target areas of the face. Once in the body, Selphyl releases growth factors, stimulating collagen production and growth of new skin cells. The filler can be used to fill in wrinkles around the nose and mouth and acne scars. Anthony Sclafani, M.D., Facial Plastic Surgeon at New York Eye & Ear Infirmary in New York City, says Selphyl can also be used to provide volume for the face, filling in hollows under the eyes or plumping the cheeks.

We are delighted to announce the addition of PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) for our patients. This is a new way to separate the growth factors in your blood with better results.
PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin)
The use of blood concentrates is becoming very popular since a lot of patients feel more comfortable using their owns cells instead of synthetic alternatives in their rejuvenation treatments.
We now use a state of the art system to separate these cells from the blood and obtain a high concentration of growth factors to guarantee excellent results. PRP is a little different than the regular PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma). PRF is based on a low centrifugation process which prevent the platelets from going down and mix with the red cells and all white cells. PRF does contain some WBD (Leukocytes) and Mesenchymal stem cells, these are essential to obtain the best results. The fact that the plasma clots into fibrin allows a slower release of growth factors and cytokines for a longer period of time.
